Cancer Space
Cancer Space is a set of concept-based search tools developed by the AI Lab in the MIS Department at the University of Arizona. Funded mainly by a National Cancer Institute (NCI) ``Information Analysis and Visualization for Cancer Literature'' project (1996-1997), an NSF/CISE ``Intelligent Internet Categorization and Search'' project (1995-1998), and the NSF/ARPA/NASA Illinois Digital Library Initiative project (1994-1998), the AI Lab is responsible for the semantic retrieval and user customization research components of the Illinois Digital Library Project.

GO Concept Search
A concept space server have been built upon a collection of a three-quarter-million CancerLit abstracts. It is appropriate for conducting both concept divergence and concept convergence searches. You can enter and choose multiple query terms at a time. The server will suggest terms which are relevant to all query terms in ranked order. You can refine your query terms by choosing terms from the suggested list. If you have found a more appropriate set of terms (concepts), you can use the set to retrieve relevant CancerLit abstracts.

GO Concept Browsing Using CancerLit-Map
This server which has been built upon a testing collection of 7,500 CancerLit abstracts is appropriate for concept browsing. You can choose a concept region from the two dimensional concept map. The server will either display another level of concept map (if a region has more than 100 abstracts) or a list of classified abstracts.
