Dr. Hsinchun Chen was named as a Fellow by the American Association for the Advancement of Science; see the Nov. 28, 2006 Arizona Daily Star (see the article here).

Dr. Hsinchun Chen was selected as a recipient of the IEEE Computer Society’s 2006 Technical Achievement Award, for his innovative contributions to digital libraries, medical informatics, and intelligence and security informatics.

ScienCentral Video News recently featured the AI Lab's "Dark Web" Project, which examines how extremist groups use the Internet (see the article here).

The Lab's "Dark Web" Project was also featured in a recent Discover
Magazine cover article, "The Future of Terrorism".

A grant from the United States Department of Agriculture will support work on the surveillance of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (see BioPortal pages).

Welcome to the Artificial Intelligence Lab! We hope you will enjoy your visit and return often.
